Context

WECC is a seminar organized by the Chair "Stress Test, Risk Management and Financial Steering" supported by Ecole polytechnique.

The topics will be around climate change and its impacts on extreme events. The applications of statistics of extremes on complex environmental problems could help to better assess the consequences of the climate change on different level (environmental science, economic science...).

This workshop aims at gathering together statistical scientists, applied mathematiciens and practitioners from the industry working on climate change and climate science in general.

 

For those attending the event on site, masks will be compulsory and the health pass will be requested at reception (depending on the health constraints at this time).

The seminar will take place in Paris, France, at Institut Henri Poincaré (11 rue Pierre et Marie Curie, 75005 Paris). In Amphiteater Darboux.

The seminar will take place Online. Zoom link will be send to registered participants at a later date.

Deadlines

Registration : Until January 10th, 2022. The registration form will be opened from October 13th, 2022

Registration is free but mandatory. Limited number of participants : 50.

Deadline for submission : January 5th, 2022. Acceptance by January 7th.
